TUSCAN HIGHLIGHT FOR EUROPLANTS PERENNIAL FUNDRAISER

Europlants UK Ltd held a charity fundraiser on behalf of Perennial during their 2009 open days. Over 600 people attended the nursery's 12-acre Hatfield site and, among other activities, the show's organisers held a daily raffle with numerous fabulous prizes donated by Europlants and their suppliers. There was alos a special prize of a free trip to Tuscany on offer each day.

Perennial provides advice, support and help for people working in or retired from horticulture, and the Europlants raffle raised over £1200 for the charity's work. Barbara Newell, Perennial's Regional Manager, said, "We are extremely grateful to Europlants UK for providing us with this wonderful fundraising opportunity. Perennial is currently helping around 1,000 people with problems as diverse as coping with a disability or illness, financial difficulties and family issues. All funds raised help to support our busy casework and debt advice services, and are greatly appreciated."
