Visits at other times (Minimum charge £140):

Parking

There is no parking on site but cars and coaches can park in a lay-by a few minutes walk away. Details about how to find the garden and where to park will be sent with confirmation of your booking.

Disabled Visitors

The garden is preserved in the style and character in which it was created by its former owners. Regrettably access for wheelchairs is difficult because of the narrow paths and gravel surfaces. Please let us know in advance if anyone in a wheelchair is intending to visit and we will do our best to help.

Smoking

Smoking in the garden is not permitted.

Who owns York Gate?

York Gate is owned by the charity, Perennial (formerly the Gardeners' Royal Benevolent Society).
